JOSH SATHER
LAW CLERK
With an innate passion for serving clients from start to finish through the complexities of government contracting, Josh traverses the bridge between client needs and attorney direction to make sure each case runs as smoothly as possible. As a law clerk, his attentive and detailed work behind the scenes keeps the legal teams operating cohesively. He works closely with the Government Contracts legal team conducting research, communicating with attorneys regarding case management and procedural requirements, fielding client correspondence, and assisting the legal team where needed. With a commitment to providing the highest quality legal services, Josh brings ingenuity and a team mentality to help resolve the toughest business and legal issues.
During his internship, Josh worked with the Veterans Advocacy Project through the Denver Law Clinic. This program paired individual military veterans with a team of attorneys and law students. Josh worked primarily on VA disability benefit compensation cases from the regional level to the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C. Josh conducted substantive and procedural legal research, crafted persuasive legal arguments against federal agencies, conducted client intake interviews, and performed fact investigation in support of the clinic’s veteran clients. Through this experience, Josh gained valuable knowledge not only on VA disability cases but also the overall legal process including appeals. He will utilize these skills when working with individuals and businesses embroiled in government contracts and contract appeals. Josh recently took his bar exam and will soon transition from law clerk to associate attorney.
