JOSH SATHER

Associate Attorney

With an innate passion for serving clients from start to finish, Josh plays a critical role in helping clients successfully navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of government contracting. He understands federal acquisition regulations and procurement laws that govern the relationship between government entities and contractors. Josh advises clients on compliance with government regulations, helps them navigate the contracting process, and negotiates contracts. Additionally, he represents clients in disputes, such as bid protests, claims, and appeals. With a commitment to providing the highest quality legal services, Josh brings ingenuity and a team mentality to help resolve the most challenging business and legal issues.

Josh worked with the Veterans Advocacy Project through the Denver Law Clinic during his internship. This program paired individual military veterans with a team of attorneys and law students. Josh worked primarily on VA disability benefit compensation cases from the regional level to the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C. Josh conducted substantive and procedural legal research, crafted persuasive legal arguments against federal agencies, conducted client intake interviews, and performed fact investigation in support of the clinic’s veteran clients. Through this experience, Josh gained valuable knowledge not only on VA disability cases but also on the overall legal process, including appeals.

EXPERIENCE

Josh brings a broad range of professional experience outside of the legal profession. Before joining Whitcomb Selinsky, PC, he worked primarily in the oil and gas industry. Josh’s responsibilities and job functions changed throughout the years to include interpreting and complying with local, state, and federal laws; participating in government audits; and providing on-the-job training for technical and professional staff. In addition, he was responsible for the field supervision of on-site employees. Through these experiences, Josh learned to communicate efficiently with individuals and government officials.
