Caitlin brings with her a broad range of unique experiences and insights to the Whitcomb, Selinsky, PC family. Due to her diverse life experiences, Caitlin has seen firsthand the inequities in the world, especially for specific communities or groups of people. This jarred her worldview and she decided to help resolve these injustices by pursuing a career in the legal profession.

Caitlin is deeply passionate about the intersections of law and technology, and will primarily focus on data/cybersecurity/privacy along with labor and employment law and intellectual property law. She is excited to help transform society with ethical and thoughtful applications founded in technology.

Caitlin’s interpersonal skills foster a natural trust between herself and her clients. This trust is not only built on words but action. She is invested in their lives and in their successes. Her strong sense of duty and tenacious drive is seen in every aspect of her working relationships. 


Caitlin partook in various opportunities during law school that enhanced her legal knowledge. For a student project, Caitlin co-created an organization called Veracious Intelligence where she was the Chief Legal Consultant. Additionally, she participated in the University of Colorado’s Technology Law and Policy Clinic where she had the opportunity to write laws, compose policy papers, and provide legislative testimony. She was able to see how technological advances are driving social, economic, and political change in such arenas as health care, increased surveillance by law enforcement agencies, and impacts on the environment and education. Caitlin also gained valuable legal experience while interning at the United States Department of Commerce, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and the Colorado Supreme Court.

Caitlin is a veteran of the Army National Guard. Over the course of her eight-year enlistment, she served in various positions including mentoring non-commissioned officers, directing training on intelligence reporting, and leading a team of intelligence soldiers.
