She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver with a double major in history and political science. She took many law related classes while obtaining her degree, pursuing her passion for the law. Cindy also earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Red Rocks Community College.

Cindy is married and has three grown children. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She is an avid reader and enjoys working puzzles and entering puzzle contests with her daughters. She is also a Rockies fan and enjoys going to movies regularly, enjoying the cinema experience.
