Kaya McGee 

Attorney  

Kaya is an attorney at Whitcomb Selinsky, PC, where she focuses on probate litigation, estate planning, and transactional law. Kaya brings a unique blend of legal expertise and diverse professional experience to her practice, helping clients navigate complex legal matters with clarity and compassion. 

Prior to joining Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C., Kaya worked at law firms specializing in family law, where she gained valuable experience drafting premarital agreements, handling divorce proceedings, custody disputes, and protective orders. This background sharpened her ability to navigate emotionally charged situations and interpersonal conflict.  

 While in law school, Kaya served as a student attorney for the Community Economic Development Clinic, advising nonprofit organizations and small businesses on entity formation, regulatory compliance, and general business development. She also interned with various firms, gaining hands-on experience in administrative, regulatory, employment, and business law. 

Kaya earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Tech, with a concentration in social, cultural, and economic history. She is admitted to practice in Colorado and is a member of the Sam Cary Bar Association

Outside the office, Kaya enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her beloved pup, Poptart.
