Rachel Crass is an Attorney at Whitcomb, Selinsky, P.C., focusing on civil litigation and constitutional law. She graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with the Public Good Distinction and earned certificates in Constitutional Rights and Remedies and International Legal Studies.
Experience
Rachel has been recognized for her scholarship in international and comparative law. In 2024, she received the Leonard v. B. Sutton Award for the best International or Comparative Law paper of the year for her peer-reviewed article, Not Woman Enough: How World Athletics' Treatment of Women with Differences in Sexual Development Violates the Olympic Charter and the UN's Conventions Against Racial Discrimination and Discrimination Against Women, published in the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.
In 2025, she published Comparative Sharia Law in Iran and Nigeria: Effects on Athletes and Recommendations for Sports Governing Bodies to Increase Access for Muslim Women and Girls in the Denver Sports and Entertainment Law Journal.
Before joining the legal profession, Rachel was a member of the U.S. National Weightlifting Team and served for more than a decade as an elite athlete representative. She continues to support the sports community by serving on multiple disciplinary and ethics committees for various Olympic sports.
