Tim Turner

Senior Attorney

Mr. Turner leads WSPC’s Labor and Employment practice and centers his focus on the Health and Safety sector, defending clients against MSHA and OSHA regulatory enforcement actions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Turner spent close to seven years as a trial attorney with the Department of Labor, working directly with the agencies on a daily basis. Thus, he brings an insider’s knowledge to assist employers in effectively preparing for the inspection process, and, if necessary, in successfully maneuvering through the procedural and substantive stresses of litigation, special investigations, accident investigations, discrimination investigations, and fatality investigations. Mr. Turner’s practice spans from counseling employers on pre-conference preparation to all facets of administrative and judicial ligation, including pre-hearing discovery, settlement conferences, trials, and appeals.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Turner worked as a writer, editor, and dotcommer, building content and businesses utilizing online platforms. When he is not lawyering, Mr. Turner is an avid skier and mountain biker, and he and his wife are frequent spectators of youth sports, watching their children compete in various fields and in various gyms and barns throughout Colorado.
